Day Two was more awesomeness :) This is my last post about Spark, except for the projects, which I am still finishing up. We started off with Christy Tomlinson's She Art class--so much fun!!!
That's the only photo I got, just the kit. Hopefully someone emails me some of the pics we took :)
Emily Falconbridge was amazing--the felted soaps were fun to make but not so much with carpal tunnel. But she is such a pleasure to be around, so calming, and fun at the same time!
Next was Jen Jensen's Junk Journal Class - wow there was a TON of stuff in that kit! And packaged in yummy, thoughtful ways.
She had lots of samples out and around for us to see and photograph, like this one:
Our last class of the day was Cathe Holden's NEST Jewelry class-that was fun and surprisingly easy to make. Was truly amazing to learn more about Cathe during the class.
In the middle of the day they had a blogger panel and that is where I really started to feel pumped up! It was a good thing and I hope some other crafters and creative people are now inspired to blog. It helps in so many ways :)
Just Margie and Rhonna:
Dinner was a sight to behold! Those giant roses there are cupcakes. Cupcakes! The icing was thicker than the cake.
And more chocolate, at our place settings. So cute! Matthew ate this one for me :)
And the night started with a thank you to our instructors and staff...
And ended with a concert by Sarah Sample. I could not get good pics so there aren't any to share. But it was awesome and she is silly, sweet, and folky ;) I got a signed copy of one of her albums for Katie for Christmas.
It was a great time and I totally plan on going next year! I will likely take Katie and be a vendor (I was approved and had no idea I was supposed to be vending this time - LOL!) with Hydrangea Hippo. Let's make a plan to hang out, sit at the same tables, laugh, and create together. I hope you will come along :)
