That means lots of finished projects are coming out of my scrap room but not too many tutorials going on here. So while I have been sequestered in the Scrap Cave I made this recipe book, among other projects, using Donna Salazar's new "Kiss the Cook" paper line:
What's cool about this paper line is that you can get a 12x12 sheet of mini versions (like 2" x 2") of the 12x12 papers to cut out and use as accents. Everything coordinates and you need very few embellishments to create a fabulous looking project -- very budget conscious!
For the pages in this book I used the recipe cards that Donna designed to coordinate with the line. These 4x6 cards are designed to be cut with the Dreamkuts (but your paper trimmer is fine to use) and they are printed in a way that you can arrange them in a book so that the facing pages have the same pattern. Very cool!
I *might* just teach this as a class if I get enough requests--please let me know if you would be interested! There's lots of technique with paint, spray ink, Zutter Rivets and Rivet Setting tools, and more!
Now, back to Epiphany Crafts...they have a brand new super fabulous website!! Go check it all out here. And see the other DT members besides me--a super talented group! I hope to be showing you some of my projects for their booth in the coming weeks :)
