Well, as you can see, they are meant for stamping the backs of mini books and other altered items. But why not use them on scrapbook pages?! I especially liked the saying on the bottom half of the mini book stamp. So I decided to use them to create an element of my page, a border.
Since we don't want the words to overwhelm the page use an ink that is slightly darker than your background paper.
Stamp a row of the image and use something to over the "Mini Book" words or unwanted part of the stamp. At first I thought I would use this tag:
...but then I decided to just use my photos to cover the unwanted parts of the stamped images.
Here's my final page, with some extra embellies:
Paper - Basic Grey, Sassafras Lass, Cosmo Cricket
Journal Spots & Tags - K & Co, Paper Tales LSS, Cosmo Cricket
Stickers- Cosmo Cricket, Basic Grey, Crate Paper
Alphas - American Crafts
Ink - Stampin Up!, Colorbox
Pen - EK Success
Rub-Ons - October Afternoon
Stamp - Cat's Life Press
Hope you're inspired to think outside of your stamps' purpose and use them for something different.
