Thanks everyone who came. I got almost all my Christmas cards done ;) I still ventured out for a little Black Friday shopping later in the day.

0 Color Me Miki December Guest Designer

It's my final month as guest designer over at Color Me Miki--it was soooo much fun! Love their kits and I have gotten so much done! Here's what I created with this month's kit:

I created an easy tutorial on how to create these gift tags--it will be up on the Bind It All blog closer to Christmas ;)

I turned the gold Christmas tree trim in the kit into a fire for my s'mores on this page. Just dab on a little yellow and orange paint and you've got fire!

The kit goes live today and Color Me Miki is also having a Black Friday sale--check it all out on their website.

Today I am hosting a Black Friday crop at my house -- should be fun! I hope to get my Christmas cards completed as well as a few gifties. Hope you have a wonderful day shopping, kicking back, or recovering from turkey day ;)

2 Happy Turkey Day--I'm ready for Black Friday!!

It's turkey day, the family is coming, I've got floors to sweep... BUT you should know that I am doing a BLACK FRIDAY sale!!! I'm so thankful for all the blessings I have enjoyed over the years teaching scrapbooking classes, meeting all of you in person or online (or both), and being able to do a job I love, teaching what I love, while still spending time with my kidlets and hubby. It's isn't rosy all the time but great enough to keep me happy. So as a little thanks, here's some deals to get you inspired and crafting this holiday season ;)

5 Monday is Layout Day

No class rundown today ;) -- its "Layout Day" instead!

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes. I taught a couple classes, had TWO dinners out with Xaver, had the family over for cake and ice cream--it was a really nice birthday weekend. ;)

Lots of people took advantage of my Birthday BOGO Sale in my etsy shop so I've got a new sale for December:

Right now I am offering BOTH of my "Twenty Pages In One Day" kits from 2009 for just $100 for the two. That's 40 pages, with all the extra embellies and alphas and bling that you know I give in these kits for just $50 each!!! (Reg price is $170 for the pair). Check it out HERE. I'm also offering tutorials for some of my proejcts--just buy the tutorial and it will be emailed to you so you can make it on your own with supplies from your stash.

And without further ado, a few pages ;)

Agate Bridge: Used all scraps on this one, except for the background paper.

I made a painted desert using torn paper--way old school but hey, it works for the page!

I loved this paper for Matt and these pics matched it perfect! Using up more of the stash ;)

I started this one along time ago for a challenge for book club to be inspired by an advertisement -- mine was the Starbuck's menu ads. Finally finished this page last week ;)

A Road Trip page that I created as a sample for my "10 Weeks + 10 Techniques =- 20 Pages" class at My Creative Classroom.

This was my fave page I made at the retreat! I used April's extensive QK collection to create the title. Love these pics too!!

World Thinking Day: I finally finished this page -- started it for Sketch Club at Collective Journey and was going to use it for the Lily Bee DT call but didn't finish. I cut the sun and globe on the Silhouette.

Obi Won: I got this page kit on the first Shop Hop from Strictly Scrapbooking in Torrance (closed). My how things can change...I finally made the kit too.

Another page from scraps! I made the title on my Silhouette, welding the words to the tree. And one last thing. Check this out:

Go to TrueXoXo Girls and follow the blog--something new is coming up!!

1 Hey Cooper!

Just a layout I did last weekend while I was at the SD Scrap Inn retreat with April and friends:

Sometimes you don't need alot to make a fun page ;) This is what I am telling myself as I try to reach my goal of creating 365 pages this year (ha ha ha! Actually, I just might make it, check out my totals on the bottom left column). The page is just one sheet of paper, a few stickers from the same paper line, some stray brads, and a diecut title. Easy peasy.

Also, I've got one kit left from my "Jolly Old St Nick" class from today:

ALL the stamping is already done for you too. It's up in my etsy shop so get it while its hot!

0 What Was I Thinking?

A new prompt is up over at the Pink Ninjas: What Was I Thinking? I actually started creating this layout in Book Club. I have had these two pics floating around in my stash for a few years now and never knew what to do with them exactly. This prompt totally lit a fire under my butt to get them scrapped!

Supplies:
Paint - Making Memories, Kaiser Craft
Ink - Tattered Angels
Punches - Martha, Stampin Up
Diecuts- Sizzix
Cork - Bind It All
Stickers - Scenic Route, Making Memories
Paper - American Crafts, Scenic Route, Bazzill

Went camping with some friends a few years back. What was I thinking? I am not a boat or water person, I don't even really like camping. After riding a tube with Katie on the river I got super sunburnt. I wasn't fooling anyone ;) (yeah that little kid is Katie!)

So get on over to the Pink Ninjas blog now to create your own page ;)

0 Team Edward v. Team Jacob...

...the new challenge over at Candy Shoppe Designs this week! Check it out here:

If you know me then you know I am NOT a fan of Twilight at all but this challenge was simple--the ingredients you choose determines your team. So since I chose brown, a heart, and red, my "team" is Jacob. I don't know what that means at all so cut me some slack since I am not all up on the trend ;) Here's my fun little page:

0 What a Retreat! + Pink Ninjas

I took a 4 hour nap when I got home. WOW! Yes, the only pics I have are NOT of us scrapbooking but they are fun ;) More pics can be found on April's page on Facebook. I haven;t had the time to go download them all yet but there are some pretty crazy pics!!

Vesta was there with her HUGE Copic Collection. Guess what? They fit in the Tammy I case! How cool is that?!?!

Now off to nap some more ;) I got only 17 pages so I should not be this tired but we played games, talked, and ate alot. It was super fun!

Before I go, I wanted to share this week's challenge over at Pink Ninjas: What 2009 Song Are You?

I don't follow trends, I don't care what music is really here this year because the only radio I listen to is talk radio (I know, I am soooo boring) so I just picked a song I think describes my 2009, the year that flew by and has been filled to the brim with everything but the kitchen sink like the song "Technologic " from Daft Punk. I used some old papers too just to stick with the old thing I had going on.

Supplies:
Paper - KI Memories, Bazzill, Paper Company
Brads - Doodlebug, Target, Queen & Co
Alphas - American Crafts
Pen - EK Success

Okay, off to nap ;)

Happy Napping!!
